Ivan Gundrum

Ivan Gundrum was Marty's Teacher, Mentor, and friend. He was originally born in the Austro-Hungarian Empire, but Marty met him in Tallahassee, FL where Ivan was the current artist in residence replicating Gulf Coast Native American Pottery using native techniques. Ivan eventually shared his knowledge and business with Marty before he passed and Marty honors him with his business, Ancient Hands.

Wiona Haythorn

Wyona Haythorn was a beloved mother, artist, and friend. She lived a very creative life and sparked her son, Marty Hathorn's, interest in Native American culture and all forms of artwork from a young age. Here, Marty pays tribute to his mother and her life.

Caitlyn Taylor

Over the past few years, Caitlyn has become Marty Haythorn's active apprentice, website designer, and friend. Here, Marty would like to highlight Caitlyn's contributions to his business as well as show support for her own artistic endeavors.

Lindajo is Marty's life partner and a constant source of artistic support for Marty. They have been happily married for around 22 years. They're shared value of art, education, and community service has flourished throughout their marriage. Together, they dedicate much of their time to their local artistic community any way they can.
